Hidden away in scrapbooks is a visual record of Lancaster. Postcards were a common and popular way of communication from the late 1800s on. Aside from the typical color shots of fall leaves and tourist attractions, postcards recorded everyday life and events since images could be produced from film negatives and printed locally.
This presentation, copied from scrapbooks in our archive, is in memory of our late volunteer and passionate history buff, Abie Medina
(PS, this presentation is ongoing, so check back for updates)
